Job Description
Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist
Profession: IR Technologist

Shift: 10-hour days, 4 shifts per week with variable days off
Hours per Shift: 10 hours
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of IR experience required
License: Required
Certifications: BLS, ARRT or RCIS IR certification required
Must-Have: Neuro experience not needed, travel experience preferred

Description:
The unit has 1 suite/lab with an average of 7-8 cases per day.
There will be 1 tech scrubbed in, 1 tech circulating, and 1 tech in the control room.
The EMR used is Epic and the equipment includes Philips FD 20.
An interventional radiologist and 1-2 physician assistants are on-site during working hours.
A manager or charge nurse is present on each shift, and the charge nurse takes an assignment.
The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5 PM, with potential needs for flexibility.
There are no weekend, holiday, or call requirements.
There may be occasional floating to other locations, but it is rare.
Scrub color and dress code will be provided.
The team consists of great interventional radiologists and nursing staff who are easy to work with.
Candidates must have 2 years of IR experience, but neuro experience is not required.
