Their main tasks include kitting materials for production orders, handling and stocking inventory to Creation and electronics industry standards, and precisely recording movement of inventory in the electronic inventory control systems. Successful Material Handlers have a high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and basic computer navigation skillsDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:Maintain inventory organization & cycle count by location, count, and statusTransact material in ERP system to match physical movement of partsAccurately pick, count, label, and transact parts for production operations according to pick lists and ad hoc requestsExpedite materials and transactions to support manufacturing operationsMaintains and delivers in-process inventory to point-of-use work stationsVerify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errorsUtilize reel counters and scales to accurately count inventoryLoad and unload trucks, boxes, containers, and cartsUses a variety of packaging and handling methods to protect the materials from damage including electrostatic discharge prevention and moisture sensitive partsStore and organize parts considering material handling guidance including FIFO, locator organization, weight, etc.Enter cycle counts in ERP systemProcess inventory adjustments while following approval hierarchyBake parts following part specificationsSelect the correct pocket and tape for tape and reel packagingFollow specifications for orientation of parts in trays and on tape and reelMaintain safety and 5S workplace organization standardsOther duties and responsibilities as assignedQUALIFICATIONS: RequiredHigh School diploma, GED, or equivalencyAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsBasic computer navigation skills, including email applicationsProficient English business communications skills, both written and verbalAbility to work closely with others and have good communication skillsMust have attention to detailExcellent organization skillsBe flexible, adaptable, able and willing to modify activities and direction with a dynamic business environmentAble to efficiently work in a high-volume, fast-paced, team environmentPreferredAbility to download, view, and edit Excel documentsAbility to work flexible schedulesUse of powered material handling equipment (i.e., forklift)Experience handling electronic componentsIf you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!Creation Technologies is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
