The Client Service Representative (CSR) is the first point of contact for clients and their cats, setting the tone for a calm, compassionate, and professional visit. This role is essential to supporting a feline-focused veterinary practice by creating a low-stress, welcoming environment for both clients and patients while promoting exceptional service and efficient clinic operations. In this position, the CSR manages front-desk responsibilities such as greeting clients, scheduling appointments, answering phones, processing payments, and maintaining accurate medical records. Through consistent, high-quality service, the CSR helps build lasting client relationships and ensures positive first and final impressions. Sensitivity to feline behavior and the emotional needs of pet owners is essential. This role requires empathy, active listening, and professionalism at all times, particularly in stressful or sensitive situations. Strong organizational and prioritization skills are necessary to manage interruptions while maintaining a clean, calm, and inviting reception area. Expectations & Requirements Education High school diploma or equivalent. Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proper grammar and professionalism. Ability to communicate clearly, calmly, and compassionately with clients in person, over the phone, and in writing.
