Description:

You must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. No C2C or 3rd parties, please.

  • Owner's Representative/Construction Manager role in Mountain Home, Idaho (~45 miles southeast of Boise)
  • $75/hr. - $80/hr. with weekly per diem, flat rate travel reimbursement (provided 9x annually), and mobilization/demobilization
  • Contract role, on-site
  • Initial project is slated for 2 years; additional projects are planned in the area (potential for 7+ years of continuous work in the region)

We are seeking a strong, assertive, and highly capable Owner's Representative/Construction Manager to lead the construction of a reciprocating gas generation power plant.

This is a high-visibility role that requires confidence, grit, and technical command. You will serve as the direct voice of the project principals, ensuring the project stays aligned technically, financially, and contractually from start to finish.

This type of project brings tight schedules, complex contractor coordination, and uncompromising expectations for safety and quality. Success in this role means being the steady force on-site — someone who leads with authority and delivers results.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Acting as the owner's on-site representative, protecting project interests at all times
  • Leading construction meetings, enforcing agendas, and driving accountability
  • Managing contractor relationships and ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and standards
  • Overseeing construction sequencing, safety compliance, and quality execution
  • Making critical decisions under pressure to keep the project moving forward
  • Clearly documenting discussions, decisions, and action items

What You Bring:

  • Strong-willed leadership with the ability to stand firm and not be pushed by contractors
  • Exceptional communication skills across field teams, leadership, and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to run effective meetings and maintain control of project direction
  • Technical expertise in reciprocating engine power generation and construction processes
  • Confidence and professionalism that commands respect on the jobsite
  • A proactive, solutions-driven mindset in high-pressure environments

If you're a decisive leader who thrives in complex construction environments and knows how to represent ownership with authority, this is a role where you can make a real impact.
