The Purchasing & Materials Manager is responsible for leading procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and material distribution operations within a modular manufacturing environment. This role ensures the company procures the right materials, in the right quantities, at the right time to support production schedules and project timelines while optimizing cost, quality, and supplier performance.
The position drives cross-functional coordination between Engineering, Production, Project Management, and Finance to ensure seamless material flow from sourcing through installation. This role also leads continuous improvement initiatives, enhances supply chain efficiency, and mitigates risks associated with material shortages, delays, and cost fluctuations.
