The Kitchen Sanitation Specialist will assist in maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen by effectively washing and sanitizing dishes, cookware, and working areas while supporting cooks and service staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely store and handle raw and prepared foods as well as non-food supplies.
• Efficiently wash pots, dishes, and utensils.
• Operate dishwashing machines and equipment responsibly.
• Sort and store cleaned items appropriately.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, work surfaces, and general kitchen areas according to established protocols.
• Regularly empty trash containers as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe workstation.
• Adhere to local health department guidelines when handling food.
• Implement proper food handling techniques to minimize waste and optimize resources.
• Follow safety regulations and report any unsafe conditions to management.
• Organize and store kitchen supplies, including freight and food ingredients.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling practices is essential.
