Job Description
Title: Civil / Mechanical Engineer - Natural Gas
Location: Houston, TX - Remote: Will occasionally meet clients in the Houston metro area
Hire Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay: $48-52/hr
Sterling Engineering is looking for a Civil / Mechanical Engineer to support natural gas projects in the Houston area. This role involves design, reporting, and field observation for utility infrastructure projects.
Job Duties:
- Design and develop various natural gas projects.
- Perform civil site design and prepare construction plans.
- Develop design reports and technical documentation.
- Conduct on-site observations as required.
- 2-5 years of experience in natural gas or utility engineering projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D and other engineering software such as GasCalc, Pipeline Toolbox, BoreAid, or similar programs.
- Ability to work remotely with occasional onsite visits to project offices.
