Business AWS Consultant
It will be 100% remote role but the candidate must travel to client location on need basis - San Francisco, CA)
We are seeking a seasoned Business AWS Consultant with deep expertise in AWS Cloud Administration and Data & AI infrastructure. This consultant willoperate US onsite and will support the administration, governance, and optimization of AWS accounts and services
Day to Day job Duties:
• Serve as a senior AWS Cloud Consultant providing strategic advisory and hands-on support for enterprise Data & AI cloud environments.
• Assess existing AWS architectures and recommend improvements aligned to scalability, security, governance, and cost optimization goals.
• Design and implement enterprise-grade AWS solutions supporting data platforms and AI-driven workloads.
• Lead production-level AWS implementations include secure networking, compute, storage, containerization (ECS, Fargate, EKS), and monitoring frameworks.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and automation initiatives using Python, Bash, and AWS CLI.
• Establish and optimize DevOps and CI/CD pipelines leveraging Git-based repositories and tools such as Jenkins and related toolchains.
• Provide governance, observability, and compliance oversight across AWS environments.
• Support infrastructure enablement for AI/ML services including SageMaker and exposure to AWS Bedrock.
• Facilitate architecture reviews, stakeholder workshops, and cross-functional collaboration with Data, Security, and Engineering teams.
Basic Qualifications:
• 8-10 years of IT experience, including 5+ years delivering AWS Cloud consulting engagements in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise across AWS core services including networking, compute, IAM, storage, monitoring, and containerized workloads.
• Proven experience supporting production-level AWS environments centered around Data Platforms and cloud-native solutions.
• Experience leading cloud modernization, automation, and DevOps transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake (preferred).
• Exposure to AWS AI ecosystem including SageMaker and foundational knowledge of AWS Bedrock.
• Minimum one AWS Cloud certification (required).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions.
• Ability to operate onsite within EST/CST time zones.
MUST HAVE:
1. Led end-to-end AWS environment strategy, architecture design, and infrastructure buildouts from scratch with deep expertise in cloud administration and governance.
2. Hands-on experience architecting and operationalizing solutions within the AWS AI ecosystem, including Amazon SageMaker and AWS Bedrock infrastructure enablement and deployment.
