About the Role

Our client is looking for a results-driven Social Media Manager to lead our growth across Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. This role is heavily focused on strategy, audience development, and performance optimization, not just posting content. You'll be responsible for building and executing a scalable social media strategy that drives engagement, followers, and conversions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute a data-driven social media strategy focused on growth across Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
  • Identify trends, platform updates, and audience behaviours to continuously refine strategy
  • Set measurable goals (followers, engagement rate, reach, conversions) and track performance against KPIs
  • Build and optimize content funnels to convert viewers into followers and customers

Content Direction & Optimization

  • Plan high-performing content formats (Reels, Shorts, TikToks, carousels, long-form video)
  • Collaborate with creators/designers to produce engaging, platform-native content
  • Optimize content using analytics (hooks, watch time, retention, posting times)
  • Repurpose content effectively across platforms while maintaining quality and relevance

Platform Expertise

  • Own growth strategies for:
  • Instagram (Reels, Stories, carousels, engagement tactics)
  • YouTube (Shorts + long-form growth, thumbnails, titles, retention strategies)
  • TikTok (trend adoption, viral formats, rapid iteration)

Analytics & Reporting

  • Analyze performance metrics and provide actionable insights
  • Run A/B tests on content formats, captions, and posting strategies
  • Deliver regular reports on growth, engagement, and ROI

Community & Brand Building

  • Develop strategies to increase audience engagement and loyalty
  • Monitor comments, trends, and conversations to inform content
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice across platforms

Requirements

  • Proven experience growing social media accounts (especially Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok)
  • Strong understanding of platform algorithms and content trends
  • Experience with analytics tools (native insights, Google Analytics, or third-party tools)
  • Ability to think strategically while executing quickly
  • Strong storytelling and content instincts
  • Experience with video content strategy is highly preferred
