JOB DESCRIPTION

Boise, Idaho or Reno, Nevada

12 month contract (plus extensions for a 3-4 yearlong project)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Onsite 5 days per week conducting site walks and hazard prevention activities.
• Performs frequent safety inspections, audits, and job hazard analyses.
• Acts as the technical safety advisor to management and ensures compliance with labor laws and safety regulations.
• Leads incident investigations, reporting, and development of corrective actions.
• Tracks safety trends and communicates findings to leadership.
• Maintains all required safety records and documentation.
• Schedules, facilitates, and tracks safety training for compliance.
• Supports environmental protection compliance and interfaces with regulatory agencies as needed.
• Coaches and mentors management to build a proactive safety culture.
• Oversees subcontractor safety programs, safety coordinators, case management, OCIP/CCIP claims, and high-risk activity planning.
• Handles safety administration, craft training, and work coordination.
• Takes on additional responsibilities as assigned by executives.
