Pharmacy Benefits Specialist – On-Site, Boise, ID

What You'll Do:

• Process pharmacy claims accurately and efficiently
• Investigate and resolve rejected or denied insurance claims by reviewing patient benefits and coverage
• Document claim activity, research findings, and resolutions
• Conduct research using internal systems and external resources to support claim resolution
• Collaborate cross-functionally with pharmacy, compliance, and operations teams
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with corporate policies and State/Federal laws

What We're Looking For:

• Working knowledge of claims adjudication and insurance processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills
• Technical proficiency and ability to quickly learn new systems and software
• Prior pharmacy or patient support program experience is a plus
• Familiarity with insurance reimbursement, prior authorizations, and appeals processes is preferred

Schedule:

• Standard: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM (Mon–Fri) with one Saturday per month, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Rotational option available between 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Mon–Fri) plus Saturday rotation
• Schedules are released approximately one month in advance

Pay: $21/hour
