Allied Universal - - Responsibilities: Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an educational location; Respond to incidents, alarms, and calls for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations promptly to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management; Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns; Monitor entrances, common areas, and campus events as assigned, verifying credentials when required and directing individuals to appropriate resources and/or departments; Complete patrol and incident reports, maintain required logs, and assist with security-related checks such as door and gate status, lighting observations, and key control procedures as directed
