Description

Regular Full Time. Non-Exempt/Hourly Reports to: Lead Maintenance Technician.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (This is not an exhaustive list of all duties/responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned):

  • Perform basic duties including:
    • Assist with preparation of Maintenance and Improvement Plans
    • Assist with preventative maintenance schedules
    • Help prepare plans for short term projects
    • Manage applicable projects as assigned
  • Coordinate and perform semi-skilled and skilled repair and remodeling duties, including but not limited to carpentry, painting, drywall, plumbing, cabinetry, concrete, and related building trades' tasks
  • Coordinate and perform scheduled maintenance, repair, and installation work on electrical, heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and plumbing systems
  • Coordinate and conduct preventative maintenance and repairs
  • Perform painting
  • Maintain grounds, including sidewalks, parking lots, common areas, lawns and flowerbeds, shrubbery, trash pickup to ensure maximum curb appeal
  • Set up community space as needed for (meetings, trainings, etc..)
  • Perform snow removal duties, including sanding and salting walkways
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
  • Maintain standards of confidentiality of CC Idaho clients and records
  • Perform all work duties and activities in accordance with CC Idaho policies, procedures, and safety practices

Qualifications/Benefits

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One-year related experience in maintenance
  • Current driver's license and proof of auto insurance
  • Ability to pass a background search

Preferred:

  • One or more years with related experience
  • Ability to read, speak, and write in both English/Spanish in a business setting

Required Physical Demands:

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl; to reach with hands and arms; to climb or balance; and smell
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Work Environment:

Work inside and outside; may be exposed to electrical shock and fumes or airborne particles; the work may be stressful; the noise level is moderate to elevated.
