Description Lana Funkhouser is hiring a Payroll Manager for one of her well-respected clients. She is considering any level of experience. Based in Boise, Idaho, this role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of payroll processes, laws, and regulations. The ideal candidate will excel in managing payroll staff and coordinating with other departments to maintain seamless operations.Responsibilities:- Oversee all payroll processing activities to ensure timely and accurate completion of payroll functions.- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, wage laws, and organizational policies.- Maintain strict confidentiality concerning payroll operations, reporting, and communication.- Collaborate with Human Resources to align payroll services with employee and leadership needs.- Prepare and manage accurate records, including employee documentation, payroll tax submissions, and governmental reports.- Handle monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll processes such as reconciliation and reporting.- Supervise payroll staff, providing guidance, coaching, and opportunities for detail-oriented development.- Recruit, onboard, and schedule payroll team members while fostering a positive and productive work environment.- Coordinate with third-party resources for payroll-related services and ensure proper integration.- Monitor and optimize payroll systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Please reach out to Lana Funkhouser with Robert Half to review this position.
