Inside Sales Representative - SaaS

Description:

Pingman Tools is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to help drive the next stage of PingPlotter's growth. You'll play a key role in expanding our footprint in remote work environments—especially contact centers—and growing our SaaS presence in new industries.

We're in an exciting stage where we've found product-market fit in key segments, but our biggest opportunity is expanding outbound prospecting and scaling the sales motion. Early on, your focus will be outbound prospecting—building pipelines, generating new conversations, and helping us open doors into target accounts. As you ramp, you'll grow into full-cycle ownership of deals from first touch to close, helping shape our sales approach as we continue to grow.

You'll work directly with sales leadership, learning our markets and message, testing new outbound tactics, and helping convert more remote-first contact centers into PingPlotter customers. Responsibilities

  • Prospect into target organizations via phone, email, social media, and networking to build and manage a lead pipeline.
  • Drive outbound prospecting daily to create new sales opportunities in our key markets.
  • Engage with inbound leads and trial users to help convert evaluations into paying customers.
  • Grow into managing the full sales cycle—prospecting, discovery, demos, closing, and some post-sale growth.
  • Clearly articulate PingPlotter's value proposition to IT, operations, and contact center leadership across industries.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly goals for new pipeline, evaluations, and first meetings.
  • Qualify sales leads based on clear criteria and research accounts to identify key contacts and buying triggers.
  • Share market insights and prospect feedback to help improve our sales, marketing, and product strategy.
  • Occasionally represent PingPlotter at industry trade shows and events.
  • Support core sales operations activities like forecasting, CRM updates, and reporting.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of overall work experience, with 2+ years in a sales role (ideally SaaS or technology).
  • A proven ability to drive outbound prospecting efforts and generate new pipeline.
  • Strong communication skills—clear, confident, and comfortable reaching out cold.
  • Ability to understand technical solutions and explain them to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable working directly with IT and business leaders in mid-sized companies.
  • Experience with CRM tools and sales enablement platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with network troubleshooting, remote work technology, or contact centers is a plus (but not required).
  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and comfortable operating in an evolving, growth-stage environment.
  • Willingness to travel 3–6 times per year for team meetings or industry events.

Location: Hybrid (2–3 days/week in our downtown Boise, Idaho office)

Compensation:

$80k–$105k OTE Year 1 (

$65,000 base salary + uncapped commission)
