What you'll need to excel as a Truck Driver at XPO

Minimum qualifications:

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license
• Safe driving record
• Willing to obtain hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements within 90 days of employment
• Pass a DOT drug test; no positive tests or refusals in the last 3 years
• Valid DOT Medical Certification Card or willing to pass a company-paid DOT physical
• Flexible schedule availability for up to 12-14 hour shifts, including day, night, and weekends

Preferred qualifications:

• Forklift experience
• Current hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements

Daily activities include:

• Safely operating a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles and triples
• Providing excellent service to customers and generating sales leads
• Loading and unloading freight

Truck Drivers must be able to:

• Lift objects of various shapes and sizes (often up to 50 lbs. and occasionally more than 75 lbs.)
• Safely climb in/out of a tractor cab or trailer
• Remain seated for long periods in a truck or forklift
• Walk and stand for extended durations on various surfaces, which may include uneven or slippery conditions
• Reach overhead, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel as required
• Operate a tractor-trailer combination for up to 11 consecutive hours across all weather conditions, transporting hazardous or non-hazardous materials safely
