Essential FunctionsSummary:As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for preparing and painting sheet metal enclosures using HVLP spray equipment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes. You'll perform surface preparation, apply coatings, and inspect final products to ensure they meet quality standards. Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you'll contribute to the overall success of the production team by ensuring each unit is finished to perfection and ready for shipment.Hours of Operation:-- Monday - Thursday, 4:30 pm - 2:30 amThis will include a 10% shift differentialAccountabilities:Prepare surfaces by caulking, sanding, grinding, and taping units.Apply primers and finish coatings using HVLP spray guns.Inspect painted surfaces for defects such as blisters or streaks and correct them.Disassemble, clean, and maintain spray equipment.Move units between workstations using heavy machinery.Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.Manage time and tasks independently with minimal supervision.Perform other duties as assigned to support the production team.Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.Comfortable working in a heavy manufacturing environment.Physical ability to stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch for 8-10 hours per day.Strength to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs.Steady hand and arm control for precision painting.Must pass a background check and drug screening.Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and steel-toed boots.Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.--AttributesCore Values:--Have Humanity: We look out for one another.
