Crop Insurance Learning Development Specialist

Zurich is seeking an experienced Learning Development Specialist to join our Crop (RCIS) business unit. This role offers the flexibility to work virtually from anywhere in the United States, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about crafting engaging and interactive learning experiences centered around crop insurance concepts, regulations, processes, and procedures. You will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create high-quality training materials that meet the specific needs of our organization. Your involvement will span the entire learning solution cycle, including analysis, design, development, and evaluation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with SMEs and examining policy and procedure documents to design targeted and effective learning solutions.

• Making strategic recommendations to ensure successful performance outcomes.

• Implementing various instructional design techniques to develop learning solutions of varying complexities.

• Creating materials suitable for different delivery formats such as instructor-led sessions, self-paced e-learning, and blended learning approaches.

• Applying sound instructional design principles across multiple modalities and delivery methods.

• Regularly updating and enhancing training materials to maintain their relevance and effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and 5 or more years of experience in Curriculum Design, or

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 7 or more years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Outstanding technical writing and editing skills.

• Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills.

• Innovative approach to developing training methodologies and materials.

• Effective project and time management abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Hands-on experience with course development tools such as Articulate, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Experience in the financial services or insurance sector.

• Background in consulting with business partners or clients.

• Understanding of the global learning and development marketplace and L&D solution providers.

• Familiarity with regulated industries, particularly crop insurance; prior training experience in this area is advantageous.

Your compensation at Zurich reflects your role, location, skills, and experience while complying with local laws to ensure fair payment. The salary range for this position is $65,900.00 - $107,900.00, with eligibility for a potential short-term incentive bonus of 10%.
