Position Overview: As a Customer Sales Representative, you'll deliver exceptional experiences to our customers by assisting them with the selection of animals, supplies, and services. You'll engage with each guest, understanding their needs to provide effective solutions today and in the future. You will handle transactions and ensure our merchandise is well-stocked and accurately priced, ensuring an outstanding experience for every guest.

• Assist customers in selecting the right merchandise based on their needs.
• Show a genuine interest in the welfare and proper care of all animals.
• Process transactions efficiently to enhance the guest experience.
• Understand guest needs to foster future business.
• Support the Pet Care Center in achieving its sales goals.
• Maintain merchandise presentation through proper stocking and pricing.
• Complete all required training to enhance your expertise in the role.
• Follow operational guidelines and safety procedures.
• Promote teamwork, inclusion, and collaboration.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Basic Qualifications: Ability to work effectively in a team. Professional demeanor and a genuine passion for animal care are essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are critical for engaging with customers and teammates.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in retail or sales, along with knowledge of pet nutrition and sales techniques will be advantageous.

Supervisory Responsibility: None

Work Environment: Most duties are performed indoors. Some tasks may require briefly leaving the store for receiving merchandise or stock balancing. This position involves carrying merchandise, standing for prolonged periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs, with the potential of pulling up to 2000 lbs with equipment. Following safety procedures is paramount to avoiding injury. Must be available for evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
