Your Day at Lowe's

Your daily activities will include replenishing shelves, organizing the backroom, unloading freight, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. You will also assist customers in finding or loading products as needed. Expect a physically active shift with a flexible schedule aligned with store requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service by assisting customers, answering inquiries, and providing project support.
• Stock merchandise by unloading freight, organizing shelves, and arranging pallets.
• Support store operations by verifying deliveries and utilizing equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Ensure a safe workspace by adhering to safety protocols for hazardous materials and equipment.
• Operate store tools such as scanners, Zebra phones, and balers as necessary.
• Work collaboratively as a team player to perform additional tasks as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities for Pro Fulfillment Stores:

• Utilize the Orders App to pick and prepare Flatbed Delivery orders.
• Load delivery orders while ensuring quality and safe loading practices.
• Rotate orders by delivery date and resolve discrepancies as they arise.
• Communicate proactively with customers to enhance their satisfaction.
• Implement Delivery Readiness best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 months of experience operating forklifts or power equipment.
• 6 months of experience in warehouse inventory management and stocking.

Travel Requirements

This position typically involves minimal travel. However, occasional travel may be necessary for meetings, training, or to assist other locations.

Working Conditions

You may work in various environments, including indoors and outdoors, where you could encounter different weather conditions such as extreme temperatures. Be prepared for exposure to noise and the operation of moving equipment. Proper lifting practices must be followed, limiting individual lifts to 75 pounds and requiring team lifts as necessary. Utilize powered equipment as required and only after receiving proper training or assistance.
