KPMG is actively seeking a Manager of Portfolio Strategy to become an integral part of our Digital Nexus organization. This role is hybrid, allowing a mix of in-office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and uphold a robust portfolio management framework that aligns with our strategic goals, collaborating closely with the Client Success Director to prioritize technology initiatives that serve our clients' objectives.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to identify portfolio needs and translate these into enhancements in our program management methodologies; provide coaching and support to project teams, and execute quarterly and annual planning sessions with stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of technology programs, ensuring they adhere to timelines, budgetary constraints, and quality standards, while also managing the portfolio budget effectively.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, identifying and addressing risks and issues within the portfolio with appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate program status and risks to stakeholders and senior management, driving timely updates and ensuring deliverables meet leadership standards.
  • Oversee the governance and management of the intake pipeline, partnering with Customer Success Directors to align business demands with IT capacity, while guiding the prioritization process.
  • Exemplify integrity and professionalism, fostering a respectful and courteous workplace environment.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of recent experience in portfolio management within a technology environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree in technology, business, finance, or a related field is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is a minimum requirement.
  • In-depth understanding of project management methodologies with exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A service-oriented mindset and strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), PowerBI, and Excel is essential.
  • Preferred experience with AI and prompt engineering; knowledge of ServiceNow SPM is advantageous.
  • Able to prioritize, delegate, and cultivate high-performance teams that thrive on customer service and teamwork; capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
