Front Desk Agent At Hotel 43

As a front desk agent at Hotel 43, you'll deliver personalized service with poise and professionalism, setting the tone for a seamless and elevated guest experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Answer property questions; provide accurate information regarding hotel amenities, rooms, restaurants, and directions.
2. Performs all front desk duties including check-in, check-out, room assignments, and guest key issue.
3. Verify charges, collect payment and post to the corresponding guest folio in an accurate and efficient manner.
4. Assist in the coordination and support of other departments as necessary.
5. Respond to and resolve guest complaints, creatively solve problems, anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and resolve potential difficulties.
6. Create, change, and understand guest & group reservations.
7. Maintain the appearance and operations of the front desk, lobby, and gift shop.
8. Attend periodic department trainings & meetings.
9. Complete all duties in accordance with property standards and adhere to all company policies and legal requirements regarding safety, health, and welfare of guests, employees, and the property.
10. Provide genuine hospitality engage with guests, create experiences, and deliver exceptional customer service.
11. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Consistent positive attitude
• Ability to problem solve & multi-task
• Ability to work well independently, & as part of a team
• Competent level of IT proficiency
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Must be available on weekends & holidays
• Previous experience in customer service is a plus

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing at front desk and working on a computer.

Ability to lift, carry and manipulate various items (ex: luggage) weighing up to 50 pounds

Salary Description: $17 an hour / DOE
