GENERAL OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated Program Manager for Risk Management who will play a crucial role in defining, implementing, and delivering complex programs that require collaboration across multiple projects. This position necessitates managing the matrix teams of employees and contractors to achieve coordinated and effective outcomes, all while adhering to scope, quality, time, and budget considerations.

This position can be hybrid or remote, with onsite requirements for those within 50 miles of an office (T, W, Th). Remote work options are available for those beyond 50 miles.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with management to form project teams dedicated to achieving defined corporate program objectives. Guide project managers and work group leaders in creating and maintaining comprehensive project plans.
• Organize and direct cross-functional activities to effectively allocate corporate resources and ensure the successful implementation of corporate programs and strategic initiatives.
• Engage with the executive sponsor of each corporate program (VP or higher) to align on objectives and gain a thorough understanding of business needs.
• Monitor the progress, alignment, and financial health of projects under your supervision. Implement corrective measures as necessary to sustain program viability and report to the executive team on progress and business impacts.
• Evaluate risks that could affect the success of programs, design risk mitigation strategies, and execute appropriate plans.
• Partner with procurement as needed to craft and execute strategies pertaining to service and asset contracts.
• Manage vendors according to contract specifications and other relevant documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested to support business objectives.

EDUCATION

Minimum

• High School Diploma / GED

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Technology Management
• MBA or Master's Degree in a related field

EXPERIENCE

Minimum

• 7-10 years of project management experience, or
• 7-10 years of experience delivering business solutions using information technology

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

• PMP or another Project Management Certification

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

This role does not supervise or manage other employees.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Travel may be required.

Pay Range Minimum: $78,900.00

Pay Range Maximum: $147,500.00

Base pay is determined by various factors including qualifications, experience, and internal equity among peers. This salary range does not reflect any geographic differentials Highmark may apply.
