Position Overview

We're in search of a dedicated and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technician to become part of our evolving imaging department. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Foster patient comfort and safety during procedures by clearly explaining each step
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring clinicians to ensure acquisition of high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Accurately log procedures and maintain patient records within the electronic health system
• Stay informed of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
