Job Full Description

Express Employment is seeking a certified sterile compounding technician for a compounding pharmacy. Job duties include:

• Preparing sterile compounded medications using proper aseptic technique in our controlled cleanroom environment
• Following established USP 797 SOPs to the letter, ensuring every product meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards
• Working closely with pharmacists to complete compounding logs, formula worksheets, and documentation with full accuracy
• Maintaining cleanroom readiness, including daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks and environmental monitoring support
• Assisting with inventory for sterile supplies, active ingredients, and equipment to keep production running smoothly
• Reviewing prescriptions, verifying components, and ensuring all required checks are completed before and after compounding
• Supporting QA activities, beyond-use date calculations, and continuous improvement efforts within the sterile program

Requirements:

• CPhT certification
• Experience in sterile compounding, including familiarity with USP <797> standards
• Strong understanding of aseptic technique and cleanroom workflow
• High attention to detail with a steady, consistent approach to technical work
• Ability to thrive in a controlled, fast-paced environment where accuracy comes first
• Solid communication skills and comfort working closely with pharmacists and fellow techs
• A genuine commitment to patient safety, quality, and doing things the right way every time

Other details:

• Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm
• Pay rate is up to $25-30/hr. DOE
