Ross Stores - - - Responsibilities: Greets all customers by making eye contact, smiling and saying hello; assists customers with merchandise and questions in a polite and knowledgeable manner.; Maintains a high level of awareness on the sales floor to create a safe and secure shopping environment; maintains a clutter-free store and ensures safe egress to exits.; Performs cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, dusting, restocking/restrooms) to maintain a neat, clean, and merchandised store.; Processes transactions, handles cash/check/credit card/returns per procedures, and maintains accuracy with bankable tenders.; Expedites newly received merchandise to the sales floor and merchandises items per monthly guidelines while maintaining brand familiarity within departments.
