Maximus Federal is looking for talented individuals to join our team for an exciting upcoming contract with the Defense Travel Management Office (DTMO) Travel Assistance Center (TAC). This is a full-time remote position where you can make a difference in customer service.

As a Senior Customer Support Specialist, you will deliver exceptional support for the Defense Travel Management Office. You will handle escalated inquiries and serve as a subject matter expert on travel-related systems and policies, ensuring clients receive top-notch assistance.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing excellent customer service for both basic and escalated inquiries through various channels including telephone, emails, and web chats
  • Managing escalations from Tier 1 support staff and effectively resolving customer issues
  • Contributing to updates of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required
  • Utilizing computerized systems to track, gather information, and troubleshoot
  • Managing a high volume of inbound communications efficiently
  • Offering expert guidance on the DoD Government Travel Charge Card Program (GTCC), the Defense Travel System (DTS), and Travel Policy
  • Ensuring compliance with travel regulations for all escalated inquiries
  • Responding to requests and inquiries through various communication channels
  • Performing additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least six months of relevant customer service experience
  • Strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and analyze situations meaningfully
  • U.S. Citizenship (no dual citizenship permitted)
  • Willingness to obtain Public Trust clearance
  • Previous DTMO TAC experience is preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Public Trust clearance

Pay Information

For positions on this contract, compensation will comply with the prevailing wage rate based on the employee's work location as established by the Department of Labor. Salary history will not be considered.

Minimum Salary: $19.00

Maximum Salary: $26.50
