Overview of Position:

The Customer Service and Food Preparation Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional, friendly service to patrons while ensuring that the store presents a professional appearance. Your work will help guarantee customer satisfaction and reflect the high standards established by Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide helpful answers and courteous service to customers.
• Accurately and efficiently take and complete orders.
• Engage in suggestive selling techniques in a polite manner.
• Process payments and return the correct change to customers.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet Krispy Kreme quality standards.
• Prepare all necessary ingredients for doughnut creation (glaze, fillings, and icings) using precise formulas.
• Restock products to maintain freshness for customers.
• Assist with unloading delivery trucks.
• Follow procedures and standards outlined in the Krispy Kreme Retail and Processing Specialist Training Workbooks.
• Answer the telephone promptly, adhering to Krispy Kreme greeting procedures.
• Offer product samples to customers at the discretion of management.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Sanitation Duties:
Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary shop by performing the following tasks:

• Sweep and mop all required areas inside the store.
• Clean, sanitize, and stock bathrooms regularly.
• Sanitize tables and chairs in the customer area.
• Empty trash receptacles inside and outside.
• Keep the parking lot and surrounding areas clean.
• Wash windows as needed.

• Cross-train in load out procedures.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Must possess excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Basic mathematical skills to handle cash and transactions are necessary.
• Basic literacy skills are essential.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.

Nonessential Skills and Experience:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

• Visual and auditory acuity to read product labels and communicate with others.

Working Conditions:

• Work occurs primarily indoors.
• Un-air-conditioned production areas may reach temperatures of 100 degrees for extended periods.
• Workers may be exposed to noise levels requiring shouting to communicate.
