KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As Client Service Associate, you'll regularly communicate with clients and complete back-office work to provide a compelling client experience. You will:

  • Communicate with clients and potential clients about the companys mission and services; ensure calls and emails answered in a timely, upbeat, and professional manner
  • Onboard new clients; gather and organize client documents and data; serve as guide to completing paperwork and accessing our portals/systems
  • Provide ongoing client service; efficiently handle client requests for cash movements, transfers, and account updates working closely with our selected custodians (primarily Charles Schwab)
  • Capture notes from client calls and meetings; fully leverage and optimize the use of our CRM system (Redtail) and electronic files (Dropbox)
  • Help ensure that office operations (files, phones, email, mailings) are in good working order and have a focus on environmental sustainability
  • Coordinate client meetings and other engagements/events for our advisor team using calendar software (Calendly)
  • Help advance our commitment to social impact and sustainability
WHAT IT TAKES
  • 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a Registered Investment Advisor environment
  • Bachelors degree highly preferred; financial services or other related professional experience may substitute
  • Familiarity with financial industry software and systems, including custodial platforms (Schwab), project management software (Asana), portfolio management systems (Black Diamond), and CRM software (Redtail)
  • Exceptional organizational skills, professional demeanor and a love for checklists!
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A commitment to excellence; detail-oriented and client-focused
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fun, hardworking, and progressive firm
  • Passion for creating impact around environmental sustainability, social justice, multiculturalism and/or community economic development
  • Tech-savvy and highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite; strong ability to learn and apply new software systems quickly
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development
THE BENEFITS

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary plus bonus, 401k with company match, health insurance including dental and vision coverage, paid and volunteer time off, and opportunities for training and career growth. The base salary for this position is $70,000-$90,000, depending on experience.
