Drill Press Operator Day Shift $19.00 p/h

• DAY shift, Monday- Thursday, 5 AM-3:30 PM

Duties:

• Safely operate a Drill Press and other pre-fab machines such as saws, rivet presses, press brakes, and shears
• Accurately cut and form pieces out of steel and aluminum, meeting job specifications to build industry-leading semi-trailers
• Use a variety of power and hand tools to hammer, grind, and polish workpieces
• Verify all job specifications before cutting and bending pieces to reduce waste
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe workspace
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Experience operating a drill press or similar machine
• Ability to accurately measure and perform math calculations to ensure an exact fit
• Properly read parts lists, blueprints, and sketches
• Use material handling equipment, such as forklifts and overhead cranes, to move materials safely
• Work well independently and as part of a team
• Follow all safety procedures and requirements
• Able to work in a variety of positions, including standing, bending, and walking
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Prefer experience running saws, press brakes, punches, or similar
• Be drug-free
