Your responsibilities will include:/pulliFollow all company and job?site safety regulations and procedures./liliIdentify and avoid potential hazards such as utility lines, equipment, workers, and falling objects./liliOperate heavy equipmentincluding track hoes, backhoes, forklifts, skid steers, and similar machineryusing throttles, switches, levers, and pedals./liliLoad, move, and place dirt, rock, materials, and equipment using tractors, shovels, trucks, and related machinery./liliManeuver equipment to strip topsoil, clear vegetation, remove obstacles, and level or grade terrain./liliExcavate, drill, and prepare holes for foundations, poles, or utility structures./liliPerform right?of?way clearing, reclamation, and site preparation./liliGuide, direct, and mentor laborers and ground personnel during work activities./liliPerform basic equipment care, including greasing, oiling, and minor repairs using hand tools./liliClean and prep construction sites to remove hazards and maintain safe working conditions./liliRead and interpret construction plans, instructions, and specifications./liliAssist with traffic control around work zones when necessary./liliMeasure, mark, and record distances and layouts to support construction work./liliPerform other related duties as assigned./li/ulpRequired Qualifications:/pulliOne year experience in heavy equipment operation/liliValid Commercial Driver License/liliValid DOT Medical Certification/liliExperience digging around existing utilities/liliTravel required for continued employment/liliPass pre-employment and other drug screenings/liliMust be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions/liliCompliance with OSHA and other Federal, State, and local safety regulations/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliThree to five years of experience in heavy equipment operation/liliLo-Drill experience/liliLoader and Forklift experience/li/ulpAt Probst Electric Inc., a proud subsidiary of Quanta Services (NYSE: PWR), youll join a team that takes pride in delivering high?voltage transmission construction, design?build solutions, and maintenance services for public and private utilities.
