As an Assistant Swim Team Coach, youll support the Head Coach in leading summer recreation swim teams, helping athletes develop swimming skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a fun and positive environment. This temporary position is based at one of the Citys outdoor pool facilities and is open to applicants 16 years of age and older. If you enjoy working with youth, love the water, and want a rewarding way to spend your summer, this is the perfect role! Essential Functions Coaches individual swimmers on various styles and racing techniques. Makes recommendations to swim team head coach for swimmers' needs, meet entries, or other duties. Attends all swim meets including Championship meet. Performs other duties as assigned.
