As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

• Coaching and developing Team Members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops to ensure excellent service.
• Overseeing daily operations and assigning duties to staff to maintain operational standards.
• Enforcing compliance with the SONIC employee handbook, policies, and procedures.
• Opening and closing the restaurant efficiently.
• Adjusting staffing and inventory levels to optimize food cost control.
• Conducting weekly inventory as necessary.
• Assisting with administrative tasks, including record-keeping and documentation.
• Delivering exceptional customer service and addressing guest concerns promptly.

To thrive in the Assistant Restaurant Manager role, you should possess:

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A solid understanding of the restaurant industry or retail operations.
• A minimum of six months in restaurant management or one year in entry-level retail management, with experience running shifts independently.
• Strong communication skills along with basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• The ability to take direction and work autonomously while effectively multitasking and solving problems.
• A commitment to maintaining SONIC's appearance and hygiene standards.
