Our team of professionals work closely with contractors, architects, and engineers to support quality and compliance across a wide range of projects. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Professional to join our team in Boise, Idaho.

About the Role

A field professional performs field testing, observations, and inspections of construction materials-including soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel-in accordance with applicable standards and STRATA's Quality Management System Manual (QMSM). This role supports project success through accurate testing, timely reporting, and strong communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform observation and materials testing of soil, aggregate, concrete, and asphalt
• Conduct testing in accordance with project specifications and industry standards
• Assist senior professionals with complex tasks
• Maintain and calibrate field and laboratory equipment
• Report results promptly and accurately
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members
• Operate company vehicles responsibly and maintain their condition
• Travel out of town and work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

Experience and certifications for this position ideally include over 1 year of experience in construction materials testing and two or more of the following certifications:

• Soil and asphalt density testing (APNGA certifications)
• Concrete testing (ACI certifications)
• Sampling and testing soil, aggregate, and asphalt (WAQTC certifications)
