Join our team as a Senior Operations Leader, where you will play a critical role in driving the success of our operations!

As a Senior Operations Leader, you will oversee all budgetary, personnel development, and operational goals within our Fulfillment Center. You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, mentoring them to achieve performance targets, foster positive employee relations, and build future leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement quality initiatives, process enhancements, and Lean projects to help your team and the Fulfillment Center surpass business objectives.
  • Oversee safety, quality, performance, and customer service in either Inbound or Outbound operations.
  • Define clear requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers, measuring performance, offering feedback, and holding them accountable.
  • Encourage innovative ideas from your team and integrate them into improvement plans.
  • Facilitate the sharing of best practices across all departments and shifts.
  • Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT, and other Senior Operations Managers to secure resources and align initiatives.

Additional Job Elements:

  • Ability to lift and move totes weighing up to 49 pounds.
  • Regular bending, lifting, and stretching, as well as frequent walking within the center.
  • Stand or walk for an average of 5 miles each day within a facility exceeding a quarter mile in length.
  • Adapt to working in diverse environments that may be noisy or temperature-variable.
  • Safely navigate all areas of the building, including the use of ladders and stairs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years of experience at Amazon.
  • 7+ years of direct management experience, overseeing a salaried workforce in manufacturing, production, or distribution.
  • Proven expertise with performance metrics, process improvements, and Lean methodologies.
  • Experience managing the entire staffing lifecycle, from hiring to performance management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field, with an MBA preferred.
  • Experience managing a contingent workforce during peak seasons.
  • Adept at adapting to changing priorities and making sound decisions under pressure.
  • Interest in long-term career advancement opportunities across multiple Fulfillment Centers.

The base salary range for this position is $135,000.00 - $182,700.00 annually. Your compensation package includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and location. We also offer comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
