Job Title: Production Assembler - Cables Job Description
Join our cable and harness assembly team as a Production Assembler. While electronics experience is a plus, this position is focused on long-term commitment to the cable and harness assembly department, not transitioning to the PCB department.
Responsibilities
Function as a participating team member.
Hand solder wires to electrical connectors and PCBs.
Assemble electromechanical assemblies as required.
Review and complete required production documentation.
Update job status in ABAS Systems as necessary.
Maintain a safe and orderly work area.
Perform related duties as needed.
Essential Skills
Accurate visual acuity for color and depth perception.
Vision sufficient to accurately measure fractions of an inch.
Manual dexterity for handling small hand tools, including soldering irons.
Ability to read and understand moderately complex assembly instructions.
Comprehend written and verbal assignments.
Advanced soldering and repair/rework skills.
Ability to use solder extractor tools.
Basic computer skills and accurate data entry.
Good math skills with ability to count and measure.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in hand soldering various types such as solder cups, J-Hook, through hole.
Proficient in most on-the-job training processes in at least two production areas.
Successful completion of on-the-job crimp training.
Successful completion of ESD and solder training, if required.
Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions.
Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma/GED.

Work Environment
Work in a clean electronics manufacturing facility with individual workstations dedicated to completing assembly portions. Employees are required to wear smocks and shoe straps on the production floor. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Meridian, ID.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
