Looking for Cradle to Grave PM with Focus on Land Development

About Our Client

My client is looking for a project manager with strong cradle to grave track record and heavy land development knowledge/experience. The client values a creative approach to problem solving and looks for leaders that create a team environment. They put in emphasis on quality and that is why they have become an established multifamily builder in the market. They specialize in building communities and neighborhoods with their unique designs and collaborative feel that improve the communities they work, live and play in. They are looking to bring an established PM to the team that can offer support to the front-end of the project specifically.

Job Description

In return for a competitive compensation package, the successful Project Manager will possess the following:

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
• 8+ years of successful completion of construction projects as an Estimator or Preconstruction Manager
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook
• Ability to interpret construction documents
• A strong knowledge of construction industry laws, contracts, finances, insurance claims avoidance, and liability aspects
• Knowledge of construction engineering principals: methods, schedules, estimating, materials, and sequencing
• Excellent preconstruction and land development experience is required
• Heavy land development background
• Open to commercial or multifamily experience

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Project Manager:

• Minimum of 7 years of related construction experience
• A bachelor degree preferably in construction management, engineering, architecture or related field.
• Effective communication skills to motivate your team.
• The fortitude to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Multi-tasking with a sense of urgency while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy is crucial.
• Competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings on site.
• Land Development or true cradle to grave experience
