divh2Mobile AP Aircraft Mechanic - Boise, ID/h2pThe Mobile Response Team (MRT) Maintenance Technicians will be based in Boise and will require travel. These technicians will be responsible for repair and maintenance service of aircraft using test equipment and hand tools, as needed, to return aircraft to service per FAA and manufacturers specifications. Schedule rotation is 7 days on 7 days off - Monday through Sunday./ph3Duties Responsibilities/h3ulliEnsures proper care of customer property through all phases of work/liliAccurately completes required paperwork and work order details in Corridor/liliContinually keeps clean and organized work area including personal tool box/liliMeets or beats flat rates for assigned tasks/liliUnderstands and follows safety procedures, and utilizes support equipment in a safe manner to accomplish work/li/ulh3Qualifications Job Requirements/h3ulliMinimum three (3) years experience in general business aviation/liliOwns hand tools to complete work (list will be provided)/liliRequires extensive travel/liliExtensive experience with general aviation aircraft and ability to complete projects with no supervision required/liliAirframe Powerplant certifications required/liliAble to work independently and as part of a team/liliGood problem-solving skills and ability to follow directions/liliOrganized and detail oriented/liliEffective oral and written communication skills/liliPositive attitude, professional appearance and demeanor/liliBasic sheet metal skills and/or basic electrical capabilities considered a plus/li/ulh3Other Prerequisites/h3ulliPass pre-employment drug screen and background check/liliAbility to obtain Airport Issued security badge/liliValid Drivers License/li/ulh3Work Environment Physical Requirements/h3ulliWork is performed in a hangar environment and requires regular fieldwork where the employee will be exposed to outdoor weather and industrial type noise conditions. Must have willingness and ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs. and 25 lbs. overhead.
