Quality Assurance Administrator - Industrial Construction

Overview: Join our dedicated team as a Quality Assurance Administrator, reporting to the site Quality Manager or Sr. Quality Field Operations Manager. This role is integral to ensuring compliance with project specifications by meticulously collecting documentation related to quality assurance. You will have the opportunity to work on a dynamic industrial construction project site in Boise, ID, requiring up to 100% travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and compile records throughout the project in a digital format.
  • Update isometric drawings using pdf mark-up software to reflect necessary details.
  • Ensure inspection documentation is accurate and traceable to physical locations on site.
  • Maintain all Quality and Inspection logs, including project Weld Logs.
  • Review calibration documentation for compliance.
  • Coach team members on documentation completeness and accuracy.
  • Conduct audits of documentation to confirm compliance with project standards.
  • Prepare organized paper records for project turnover when required.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a QA/QC role, with a minimum of 3 years in a construction environment.
  • Familiarity with P&IDs and system breakdowns for effective system turnover.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with weld mapping and traceability requirements in industrial settings.
  • Proven experience with construction management software, particularly Bluebeam Revu.
  • Preferred knowledge of Smartsheet and InEight software.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Understanding of construction inspection requirements in industrial projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret various inspection reports and drawings.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage both digital and physical documentation.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to focus for extended periods.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Physical Demands: This role requires stamina for repetitive tasks, the ability to work in diverse environmental conditions, and compliance with safety requirements. Candidates must be able to navigate confined and uneven spaces, work at heights, and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment.
