Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Management
    • Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of installers
    • Train crew members on proper techniques and safe equipment use
    • Enforce company policies and maintain professionalism on-site
    • Monitor crew productivity and address performance issues
  • Project Execution & Quality Control
    • Perform site walkthroughs and identify potential issues
    • Oversee turf installation, including excavation, grading, seaming, and infill
    • Ensure work meets Synlawn's quality standards through regular inspections
    • Resolve on-site challenges without compromising deadlines or quality
  • Administrative & Logistical Duties
    • Plan crew schedules and task timelines
    • Coordinate materials, equipment deliveries, and dumpster service
    • Conduct weekly truck and trailer inspections
    • Document project progress with daily CompanyCam updates
    • Manage daily crew time-tracking (clock in/out)
  • Client Communication & Safety
    • Serve as the on-site liaison for client communication
    • Ensure customer satisfaction and professionalism at every stage
    • Report issues promptly to upper management
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in landscape or construction fieldwork
  • Proven leadership skills in managing field crews
  • Strong organizational and scheduling abilities
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Excellent communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • Physically able to meet demands of outdoor field work
  • No licenses or certifications required, but relevant credentials are a plus

Schedule
