Vegetable Seed Development Intern

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in documenting operational processes within the Manufacturing Excellence Function.

• Collaborate with onsite Manufacturing teams to execute key projects related to vegetable seed processing.

• Support field activities, including the timely shipment of stock seeds to growers, trial coordination, and various agricultural tasks such as scouting, pollination, harvesting, and processing.

• Validate data and generate SAP reports to support global and regional operations.

• Engage in quality and HSE initiatives to drive key programs and metrics.

• Work with cross-functional regional and global teams to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.

• Collaborate with Crop Specialists and Production Research personnel to develop and execute projects focusing on reliability, quality, and cost enhancement.

• Participate in business initiatives and optimization projects with global and regional teams.

WHO YOU ARE

• Currently enrolled in a junior college or bachelor's program in an agricultural-related field.

• Possess a valid driver's license and personal transportation to access work locations.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team spirit.

• Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.

• Self-motivated with a strong focus on achieving results.

• A proven ability to manage deadlines with attention to detail.

• Strong problem-solving skills and organizational capabilities.

• Excellent computer proficiency related to data management and record keeping.

• Demonstrated leadership skills and initiative.

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Employees can expect a salary ranging from approximately $22.10 to $29.40, with potential additional bonuses. Benefits include healthcare, vision, dental, retirement plans, PTO, and sick leave. Salary may vary based on location, experience, and other relevant factors.
