Adecco is hiring immediately for a Cable & Harness Assembler at an electronics manufacturer in Boise, ID. Cable & Harness Assemblers will become proficient in tinning soldering, using a heat gun, crimping, and splicing and clipping ends of wire/cable.
In this role, you will read schematics, take measurements, do math, and follow instructions to ensure assembled cable harnesses are to client specifications. You will tape joints, tin wires and pull wires through tubing and flex-weave, insert pins and sockets into terminations as required.
Requirements:
- Must be able to follow color-coding, verbal and written instructions in English
- Good hand-eye coordination to assemble parts with and without hand tools including crimpers, clippers, strippers, nippers, grippers, pliers, screwdrivers and nut drivers.
- Understanding, knowledge and use of rulers, metric and standard
- Inspect material for damage and document for quality assurance.
- Ability to sit for an entire shift
- Weekly pay starting at $15.50/hr.
- Schedule is Monday - Thursday 6:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. with available overtime
