The City of Boise's Department of Planning and Development Services (PDS) is responsible for the physical growth and development of the city. From forward-looking plans to everyday, practical building and construction, PDS plays an instrumental role in the shape and direction of Boise. Specific responsibilities include long-range planning, urban design, mobility, housing, community development, zoning, historic preservation, building permitting, and inspections. We are seeking data interns for the Spring and Summer semesters to support Planning and Development Services with a data cleanup project focused on increasing compliance with payment of past-due parking tickets. Responsibilities will include data entry, analysis, and creating customized dashboards. Each intern will be assigned a specific deliverable to complete by the end of the semester.
