This is a full-time position 7:00am-4:30pm (Mon-Fri) with some opportunity for overtime. We provide excellent benefits such as Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, 401k matching, and Medical/Vision/Dental benefits as well as competitive wages.
What You'll Do:
Supervise the daily activities of installation operations
Work collaboratively with Project Management, Project Coordination and Production to create installation schedules based on the project schedule and subcontracted labor
Schedule, Review, and update items within companies CRM system including tasks, punch list or action items
Deliver projects to job sites with shop staff labor
Attend project site-meetings and coordinate install timing with the General Contractor, subcontracted labor, and other trades
Complete required safety meetings, site orientations, hazard assessments, and safety documentation
Ensure the correct tools, equipment, and materials are delivered to installation sites
Take field measurements, compare measurements to architectural and shop drawings, and notify Project Management and Engineering to resolve any issues
Direct and stage cabinets and components for installation
Supervise installation projects while actively installing cabinets, fixture assemblies, and millwork
Inspect work throughout the installation process and perform final quality checks of completed work to ensure quality standards are met
Prepare and manage self-performed punch-list ensuring all items are complete and accurate, and quickly resolve issues
Complete and maintain paperwork, documentation, and records throughout the installation process
Manage the final contractor / owner punch-list and quickly resolve issues
Develop and maintain relationships with General Contractors, subcontractors, and customers
Ensure worksites and tools are cleaned, maintained, and safe
Ensure work is being performed in a safe and efficient manner and correct any issues that arise
Ensure installation consumable inventory levels are maintained
Work collaboratively to ensure efficient installation and time management
Assist with the development of process improvements that optimize efficiency
Manage staff by selecting, orientating, training, coaching, counseling, monitoring attendance, and developing personal growth opportunities for employees
Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed
We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent
Associate's degree or certificate in Cabinet Making, Woodworking, or Carpentry preferred
3 years of experience in commercial cabinet manufacturing, spray finishing, or installation with 2 years of leadership experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management and work prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, sketches, and shop drawings
Must have strong cabinet installation and finish carpentry skills
Strong knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite
Apprentice level skills in cabinetry and architectural woodwork
