The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Administrative Assistant supports the EHS team's mission to maintain a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. This role focuses on modernizing training materials, coordinating learning initiatives, and supporting emergency preparedness across facilities. The position plays a key role in ensuring training content is engaging, current, and accessible to a multigenerational and multicultural workforce.Key Responsibilities

  • Redesign and update EHS training content using advanced PowerPoint design techniques.
  • Apply modern visuals, layouts, and animations to enhance learner engagement.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and support EHS training sessions.
  • Maintain medical emergency response supplies and PPE/equipment inventories.
  • Update online systems for training records, communications, and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with hourly employees and management.
  • Assist with process improvements and organization of EHS documentation.
  • Support emergency readiness activities across supported facilities.
Required Qualifications
  • No degree required.
  • Prior experience in an administrative assistant, document management, or clerical role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience developing or supporting training content for adult learners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage timelines.
  • Ability to work independently, identify tasks, and seek stakeholder input.
  • Ability to problem-solve in complex or evolving environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing training content within large or complex organizations.
  • Familiarity with EHS, safety, or compliance-related environments.
