divh2Winco Foods Store Cleaner/h2pMaintain a safe and clean store facility environment. Consistently provides friendly, courteous customer service to internal and external customers. Performs other related work. Generally works 6-8 hour shifts between 9:00 am and 10:00 pm./ppTypical Duties and Responsibilities/pulliSeeks opportunities to welcome, engage, serve and thank customers. Maintains an atmosphere of friendly, enthusiastic customer service with an emphasis of taking care of the customer./liliMaintains a clean and safe environment throughout the store for customers and employees performing cleaning tasks regularly and on an as needed basis./liliMaintains safe spill free floors (sales floor, backroom, restrooms, office, breakroom, etc.) by sweeping and mopping./liliMaintains sweep logs./liliEmpties trash cans and trash bins throughout the interior and the exterior of store property./liliMaintains office and employee breakroom areas./liliWipe down all walls and appliances (pop machines, vending machines, ATM, cases, rails, etc.)/liliCleans and sanitizes all restroom floors, fixtures, appliances, etc./liliClean cases and glass doors throughout the store./liliMaintains can return machines and area. (Wipe down machines, empty bins, etc.)/liliDusts and vacuum store facilities./liliAssists with replacement of lamps in light fixtures./liliClean and scrub the backrooms./liliCooperates in a kind and courteous manner with customers./liliMay assist in rounding up and bringing in shopping carts from parking lot as needed./liliPerforms other duties as assigned or needed./li/ulpRequirements/ppAbility to:/pulliWork varied shifts in a 24/7 operation; including night, weekends and holidays./liliRead and follow verbal and written instructions./liliPerform moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs.)/liliCrawl, bend, stoop, climb, balance, reach, walk, push, pull, maneuver in tight quarters, climb on ladders and scaffolding, etc./liliUse all types of approved chemicals and solvents./liliWork outside in cold, hot, and inclement weather conditions (rain, snow and sleet)./liliRespond quickly to audible pages for spill clean up, customer service, accidents and emergencies, etc./liliCommunicate (hearing speech) with customers and fellow employees./liliLearn safety and departmental policies and procedures./liliMust be 16 years of age or older./liliPerform primary duties with efficiency and accuracy./li/ulpAdditional Requirements:/pulliFood Handlers Certification (Per State Laws)./li/ulpMachines and Equipment Operated:/pulliPallet jacks, hand truck, garbage and card board compactor./liliAutomatic floor scrubbing machine./liliElectric shopping cart caddy./liliVarious hand tools./li/ulpFor minors hired, hours may differ as well as machines and equipment operated./ppThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature of work performed by the employees assigned to this job.
