Position Overview
The company is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Pharmacy Order Clerk to join their pharmacy team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient packing of medications and related products for delivery to patients or healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. How You'll Help Us Improve Healthcare

Medication Order Processing : Accurately pick and pack medications, ensuring that all items are correctly labeled and documented according to prescription orders and pharmacy standards. Prepare orders for shipping.

Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control by checking and restocking supplies, and verifying that medication quantities match records.

Quality Control: Conduct routine checks to ensure medications and packaging meet safety and quality standards, and report any discrepancies or issues to the Pharmacy Manager.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of packed orders, including documentation of any errors or issues encountered during the packing process.

Customer Service: Provide excellent service to patients and healthcare providers by ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders. Address any questions or concerns regarding medication packing.

Compliance: Adhere to all pharmacy regulations and guidelines, including those related to handling controlled substances and maintaining patient confidentiality.

Safety: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to sanitation guidelines.

A Few Things About You

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Previous experience in a pharmacy, healthcare or warehouse setting is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Basic computer skills, including familiarity with pharmacy management software.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to up to 30 pounds. Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day. Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination are essential.

Certifications: Pharmacy Technician certification or trainee license is preferred, but not required.

Onboarding: the onboarding process includes a drug test and a 7 year background check
