Job Description

Seeking an experienced SMT Operator to join our electronics manufacturing team. This role involves operating and maintaining SMT equipment, ensuring high-quality PCB assemblies, and supporting production efficiency.

As an SMT Operator, you will:

• Independently operate SMT automatic assembly equipment: Screen Printer, SPI, Pick & Place, Reflow Oven.
• Perform preventive maintenance on SMT and production equipment.
• Set up machines and load components into feeders.
• Read and interpret setup lists, assembly instructions, and assembly notes.
• Print solder paste on PCBs, including fine-pitch and BGA packages.
• Identify and document non-conforming materials.
• Handle sensitive electronic devices per ANSI/ESD s20.20-2007 standards.
• Ensure compliance with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Recognize Sn63 and Pb-free solder pastes and ensure proper usage.
• Maintain accurate records and follow company quality procedures.

This is a full-time opportunity.

Schedule: Day Shift, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in SMT industry and operating SMT equipment (Screen Printer, SPI, Pick & Place, Reflow Oven, AOI).
• IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, and J-STD-001 certification or equivalent knowledge.
• Ability to perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Good computer skills, including MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with ROHS compliance.
• Experience identifying component features and feeder types.
• Knowledge of solder paste printing for fine-pitch components.

Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
