Johnson Service Group, a nationally award-winning staffing firm, has an immediate opportunity for a Quality Control Inspector for a global medical device client in Frankin, MA

Contract | Onsite | $20 per Hr.

Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to support inspection and verification of purchased and in-house manufactured products. This role ensures products meet established quality, process, and regulatory requirements prior to shipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and functional testing of components, sub-assemblies, and finished medical devices according to established procedures
• Maintain inspection logs, worksheets, and device history records
• Perform data entry of inspection results using Excel and SAP
• Complete material transactions and related SAP activities
• Perform final labeling and packaging of finished goods
• Review quality and repair records and support inspection record maintenance
• Ensure Good Documentation Practices (GDP) for all controlled records
• Support digital archiving of quality documentation
• Identify and escalate non-conformances as needed
• Release finished products for shipment in accordance with quality standards
• Follow FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), ISO 13485, and ISO 14001 requirements
• Adhere to all company safety, environmental, and quality policies

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6 mos. - 1 year of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or quality inspection
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and procedures
• Experience using basic measurement tools (including microscopes)
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Basic computer skills with experience in data entry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• SAP experience preferred
• Medical device industry experience a plus
