Hospital Logistics Specialist

Robert Half is looking for a hospital logistics specialist to join our client located in Carmel, Indiana. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating requisitions, inventory management, receiving, and projects. You will ensure that orders are filled timely and accurately, and that products are inspected for damage, expiration, and proper packaging. You will also perform cycle counts and physical inventories, and coordinate the availability and delivery of products. In addition, you will provide excellent customer service and ensure that aisle/storeroom maintenance and cleanliness is constantly maintained. This position may require on-call rotation and weekend coverage. Shift: Monday - Friday 9am - 1pm (Part-time).

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate requisitions, inventory management, receiving, and projects
• Ensure orders are filled timely and accurately
• Verify product by description, item number, and quantity
• Inspect products for damage, expiration, and proper packaging
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventories
• Coordinate the availability and delivery of products, to include equipment, mail and/or linen
• Provide excellent customer service
• Ensure aisle/storeroom maintenance and cleanliness is constantly maintained
• May be required to work on-call and weekends

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to be on your feet for 8 hours
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• 1-2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call and weekends
